Networking Pays

Networking Pays

May 08, 2018

One of the biggest mistakes someone can make in business is to take on an “everybody against us” mindset. When executed with hostility, this can breed a sense of contempt for your competitors, which, as you can likely guess, will be returned to you. Kindness in the business setting does not necessitate being a pushover or being dominated by your competition. There is, contrary to popular belief, a kind and caring way to rise to the top of your sector. We’ll show you two ways how.

BestFlag always has your best in mind. Down to the smallest details of what we do, it’s all about you (sorry for the rhyme). We scoured the globe looking for the highest quality materials at a price point that makes sense for you. Why pay for more if you’re not getting more? We take care of each and every piece we build. It’s your design, and we take that seriously. We treat it as if it were our own. That’s our assurance to you.

So what are two ways that you can maintain your competitive edge without being a hostile company?

Firstly, don’t be afraid to network. Talk to you competitor and find ways that you can work together on a project. Market it heavily, and show both of your demographics an air of openness and kindness. That sells.

Secondly, look for unique opportunities that can be advantageous from a business sense. Maybe your competitor has a unique technique or piece of equipment that could really benefit you. Inquire about an exchange of goods or services so that both parties end up mutually benefiting and stronger than before.

Walling yourself off and putting yourself against your competitors can leave a sore taste in your customer’s mouths. It doesn’t have to be that way! Look for creative ways to collaborate and increase your brand’s perception.
